From coastal conservation to helping people get back to work, Gary Moore’s dedication to giving back is making waves—in his community and beyond.
As Vice President of Sales at InsureOne, Gary not only drives business success but also channels his leadership into causes that strengthen communities. His commitment this year alone includes more than 84 volunteer hours as Board Chairman for Goodwill of South Texas, where he helps guide programs that provide under-employed individuals with access to advanced job skills—particularly in technology—through 23 thrift store locations and 9 job connection centers across South Texas.
“I’m motivated by the idea that we’re helping people open doors to better opportunities,” Gary shared. “Sometimes all it takes is the right skills and a little support to change someone’s future.”
Beyond workforce development, Gary also serves on the Human Uses Implementation Team for the Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program, representing the City of Portland, Texas. This year, he has dedicated time toward reviewing and funding shoreline access projects—initiatives that not only expand public access but also protect the ecological sustainability of coastal lands for future generations.
