What Successful People Eat for Breakfast

They say you are what you eat. But are you also who you eat like? If your goal is to be successful, it can’t hurt to try this approach. Here is what some of the most famous entrepreneurs eat for breakfast, so you can mimic their mealtime tactics.

Eggs

Unsurprisingly, eggs are on the menu for many of today’s successful people.

Michelle Obama typically has scrambled eggs paired with sides of turkey sausage and grapefruit, while Oprah also feasts on an egg paired with toast and avocado.

Justin Timberlake has two breakfasts involving eggs — a scrambled egg paired with waffles followed by another egg after his morning workout. Even Arianna Huffington enjoys poached eggs with coffee and fresh fruit.

Ice Cream

This one is a bit out there, but ice cream is an everyday meal for one important government official — Nancy Pelosi. Her go-to breakfast is dark chocolate ice cream, a habit which she has maintained for years. Whatever works!

Fresh Fruit

A slightly healthier breakfast is fresh fruit, which is the main staple of fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. She eats papaya, kiwi, and pomegranates, often paired with yogurt.

Richard Branson also relies heavily on fruit, concocting a mix of fresh fruits and muesli. And while she’s no longer with us, Margaret Thatcher usually ate half a grapefruit for breakfast as a light way to start the day.

Protein Shakes

With so many successful people also wanting to look their best, protein shakes shouldn’t be a big shocker. Al Roker crafts his with protein and fiber powders, frozen berries, ginger, and almond milk.

Well-known fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld also relies on a protein shake recipe given to him by his doctor. It includes chocolate powder and steamed apples.

Yogurt

Yogurt plays a role in many breakfasts, including Kelly Ripa’s. She pairs her yogurt with granola for a satisfying crunch.

The CEO of Birchbox does something similar, usually preferring a cup of Chobani yogurt.

It might seem silly to think of breakfast as a habit to adopt from your successful peers. However, it’s clearly working for them, so it might just work for you too!
